Extend Warranty

Implemented a custom Extend Warranty setup which allowed products to be matched dynamically with warranty SKUs based on items product specific attributes.  Developed backend cart interface for dynamically changing warranty items being added and removed from order as well as front-end JS code to handle updating customer interface to provide immediate feedback.

Shipping Module

I have implemented countless shipping modules and live API integrations as well as ShipperHQ over the years. While live rate calls are sometimes required and live rate delivery dates are now the norm, there is often a penalty depending on the shipping carrier and sometimes there can be outages (Looking at you Fedex API) which nukes conversion rates at just the time you need them during the holiday rush.

I developed a custom shipping module to replace many of the features of ShipperHQ (if you're not familiar ShipperHQ is a highly configurable shipping extension for Magento) configurable lead times, blackout production dates, delivery dates.

I additionally implemented a process to dynamically change shipping method codes to proper service to arrive on time and save money on shipping expenses and improved customer experience by removing API call latency.

Product Permutation Builder

Building out complex configurable products quickly with Magento isn't a simple and straight forward process. I wrote a custom Magento extension to make this whole process easier. It can be tailored to work with just about any system as it's more of a taxonomy builder that lets you create attribute lists and then generates product permutations based on selections by your product team.

Sheets are generated using the Firebear Improved Import to provide dynamic creation of attribute options and allows product owners to quickly make changes to existing products and create new lines efficiently.
